Merry Christmas

Here I am all wonderfully snowed in.  It's suppose to turn bitter cold tonight.  After 3 years of drought I personally welcome the snow.  A few days ago I was lead to believe we would not be having a white Christmas and now we will in a big way.

My family is choosing to celebrate Christmas on January 1st this year.  That is the only day everyone can get off.  My dear daughters said they hated Thanksgiving where we had dinner at 10:45 am and then they had to go to work while the rest of us got to play some games and watch a movie and visit.  by the time they got home everyone had left and gone home.   So this time we will put off and wait a week so we can all be together.  I don't think it is important which day we stop to celebrate as long as we can all decide on a day to do so.

So I would like to take time to wish you each a very Merry Christmas and may you have a blessed New Year!  I pray you will each enjoy time with your family and friends.  If you are traveling make sure you keep emergency supplies with you in case you get stranded.
